We left on Friday night at 11:00pm to head to Gulf Shores for vacation. Jeff and I thought it would be best if we drove through the night in hopes that Jace would sleep the entire way.
Being Jace's first vacation...we (I) really wanted to make sure that we had everything that we might need to make our trip...basically, our car turned into a house on wheels! Our "plan" worked. Jace slept AWESOME. He only woke up one time in our 8.5 hour drive!
Jeff and I were really proud of ourselves when we arrived. Our trip went well, and we made good time. When we went to check into our condo we soon realized we made an oops! We thought our check-in time was at 10:00am...really it was 3:00pm (our check out time will be 10:00). We were really disappointed, but decided to make the best of our situation. Having no place to go, we hung out in our "house on wheels" for a little longer. Jace didn't seem to mind!
Nonni, Poppa T (my mom and dad), Brooke & John arrived about 2 hours after Jeff, Jace, and I got checked into our condo. We went to LuLu's to eat dinner.
We were all exhausted after dinner! We decided to call it a night early. We all cleaned up and hit the sack!

| Jace thinks it is way cool to take a bath in the sink :) We are really thankful for this break with our family! This is our first vacation together since Brooke and John got married, so we are excited to hang out! Check back for updates on our week! |
