Happy Easter!

A few weeks ago, Jace and I had my accountabilty group and their kids over to our house for brunch to celebrate Easter. We had a lot of fun enjoying each other's company! We ate some yummy food, made a cute canvas, and the kids had an Easter egg hunt.

We had a great time celebrating Easter this week with all of the festivities, family, and friends. Even though Jace is a little too small to understand this year, I want to be intentional in celebrating Easter for the real reason. I love the Easter bunny and hunting eggs and all of the other things that we do each year, but I don't want that to be the focus in our home. I want JESUS CHRIST to be what we are excited about...not Easter baskets. The REAL TRUE reason that Easter even exists is because Jesus Christ conquered death. He was crucified, BUT He rose again. We serve a LIVING God. Oh, how I want that to be the celebration in our home!

"Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen..." Matt. 28:5-6
