Spring Fever!!

This week has been kinda crazy busy, but our family has had a good week. Here are some highlights of our week. On Monday, I had the day off with Jace. The weather was nice enough that we got to enjoy a little time outside.

We enjoyed some time in the house too. Jace colored, finger-painted, and I helped him with a hand print butterfly to welcome spring!

If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE to find a good bargain. Well, I happen to be a huge fan of Rhea Lana, a consignment sale that comes to Russellville a couple of times a year. It really makes me look forward to spring! The sale took place this week. On Monday night, my mom and I enjoyed the pre-sale. We came away with a few good things. We even got two toys that were name-brand in the package...for a GREAT price. Last night, the pre-sale for the half-price sale took place. Brooke and I went to that sale together and found a few more great deals.

Here are the things that we found on the pre-sale night. I also got a booster seat and another fun "Little Peoples" truck.

Today has been a fun day too. I started off the morning meeting with my accountability group. It has been such a blessing to have a group of girls that spur me on and challenge me to look a lot less like myself and a lot more like Christ. After that, I came home and had breakfast with my little man after Jeff went off to work. Jace and I got dressed for the day and headed to the church. Our church has a HUGE heart for missions. A few times a year they have a garage sale to help support missions that our church is involved in. I found a few treasures for Jace and for work there too.

 This afternoon, Jeff got off work early...always a treat for Jace and I. We bleached and power-washed the slides. Then, we played outside and enjoyed each other's company. I even pulled a few weeds in the flower beds. Tonight, we grilled steaks and had potatoes and mixed vegetables. We all got ready for bed, and Jeff and I concluded our night enjoying a movie.

And this little face makes his momma's bargain hunts ALL worth it!!
